ABOUT US

Home Hands is a locally owned, non-medical in-home care agency proudly serving the Greater Rochester Area and Finger Lakes Region. We’re built around a simple promise: to help older adults age with dignity, comfort, and continuity — in the place they call home.

We provide personalized care that goes beyond the basics — from companionship and light housekeeping to personal care, mobility assistance, and nutritious meal support. Every care plan is thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique and evolving needs of each client and their family.

What sets us apart is our people. We pay our caregivers well to attract and retain the very best — individuals who bring not just experience, but warmth, reliability, and meaningful value to daily life.

At Home Hands, we don’t just fill shifts — we build relationships. With responsive communication, local leadership, and a deep respect for the aging journey, we deliver something rare in this industry: true peace of mind.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Connor Boyd, founder and president of Home Hands In-Home Care, is a lifelong Rochester-area resident. Born and raised in Fairport, NY, he graduated from Fairport High School in 2012 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree with high honors in Philosophy and Business from Brooklyn College.

After returning to Rochester to be closer to his parents, brother, and friends, Connor began working at Caring Transitions of Rochester — a local company that assists older adults with downsizing and relocation. There, he discovered a deep passion for serving seniors and supporting families during life’s transitions.

Through firsthand experience and active involvement in the senior care community, Connor recognized a growing need: helping older adults remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. That insight inspired the founding of Home Hands — a care agency built on personal oversight, handpicked caregivers, and a deep commitment to dignity and compassion.

“This is more than a business to me. It’s a meaningful mission. I take pride in what we’re building — and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve families in the community I love.”
